  Always excellent soups, sandwiches and salads, served with welcoming smiles. They just brought back their Black Bean Soup... oh yum yum yum. This soup - or their Curried Sweet Potato soup - along with their Field of Greens salad, and I am happy!

  Cafe Girasole offers creative, delicious, healthy food that is freshly prepared each day. What a pleasant surprise to find such high quality, interesting gourmet food right in Garnerville!
  
  The service is friendly, and helpful. On my first visit, I had a generous sandwich made with the tasty chicken salad of the day topped with fresh veggies and avocado on squaw bread. Perfect combination! The owner let me sample two side dishes (half each) instead of the one that's included. The curried orzo salad was divine, and the bow tie pasta salad was scrumptious! Also included with our sandwiches was a choice of unsweetened mango iced tea, or herb water. Both were refreshing and welcome! My companion's grilled panini sandwich was yummy and she loved her side dishes as well.
  
  Since discovering Cafe Girasole, I have eaten there many times -- each time I visit my family in the Carson Valley. I will definitely continue to return to this terrific restaurant!
